MacGregor Ministries in Canada got shut down by the government for being a Bigoted Religious Hatred Ministry and breaking Canada's Legals Statutes against Religious Hatred! PICTURE FROM MACGREGOR MINISTRIES [MM] OUTREACH SITE Conclusion: Macgregor is just another non-Christian wolf in sheep's clothing. MacGregor talks twaddle: The Evidence Definition: TWADDLE, Noun:- meanings:- pretentious or silly talk or writing, baloney, bilge-water, baloney, bosh, drool, humbug, tommyrot, tosh, taradiddle, tarradiddle hokum, things that are not true, lies, falsehoods, &c. Is it accurate to say that Sister Lori talks twaddle? It is if she does, and she does, and so it is! See if you can follow the mental working of Anti-Mormon minister Lorri MacGregor's mind as she explains her personal method of how she arrives at her definition of 'cult' and what comprises one. Like many whose education is not very advanced she starts with the Websters Dictionary, explaining that is offers the following definitions: 1.A system of religious worship.2.Devoted attachment to a person, principle, etc.3. A sect. Having gone to Webster's lexicon voluntarily and seen what it says, and even sharing it with her readers, she immediately abandons her reference book, but does not turn to others to see if they have something by way of definition more to her personal liking. Apparently she has no other dictionary and so reverts to Webster's explaining that its definition of a sect is "a religious denomination." Since she does not agree with Websters - she labels their definitions as "hazy" we are left wondering why she mentioned it in the first place? Perhaps it provides astute readers with an indicator of her unscientific methodology within which truth is simply discarded if it dares to disagree with what she needs it to mean and, if it doesn't, then her monumentally egotistical mental equilibrium is disturbed. She is about to provide us with an example of what happens when she doesn't get her own way. Fortunately for Noah Webster, he is beyond her reach! Since none of the dictionary definition, although 100% correct in standard English usage, serve her iconoclastic purposes she abandons the primary demands of scholarship and language to force her own definition whilst signalling her abandonment of her disappointing dictionary in favour of the Holy Bible. We need to turn from the pages of the dictionary to the pages of the Bible. Having read that, we expect her to refer to the Bible for her definition. We are disappointed when she does not. Instead she delivers a definition of cult that she has rebuilt "nearer to her heart's desire!" This is it: 'Counterfeit Christianity' is probably the best definition we can give a cult. The Bible to which she says she will appeal is not quoted. Instead of its authoritative definition of cult she gives her own version. Since the word does not appear in the Bible she has either made a mistake or is deliberately wrong-footing her readers. Her reason for not going into too much detail? All this "detecting" of a cult takes time, so we need some methods where we can readily detect a cult without time-consuming research. A Basic Lesson - or three - So, Twaddle-talker Lori holds up the Dictionary to define 'cult,' but denounces its scholarship as 'hazy.'
- So, she declares she will turn aside from Webster's Dictionary - which she does - and turn to the Holy Bible - which she doesn't!
- So, she promises to share 'some methods' that will enable her readers - and, presumably, herself, to readily detect a cult without time-consuming research.
"Without time-consuming research!" What a chilling admission. MacGregor prefers Twaddle to Research! And it is true that she does, because she proceeds to dispense Twaddle as if it were Pure Gold Truth. Fortunately for us all, like all Twaddle Talkers she overreaches herself. She overreaches herself because she is confidant that no one will ever read her work or hear her lectures that is any more capable of time-consuming research than Lazy Lori herself is! However, as she so often is, she is wrong again! Two Cast Iron Examples Will Suffice Two claims that Mrs MacGregor makes show how poorly prepared this woman is to advise anyone about their eternal security. She ventures into deep and dangerous waters when she appeals to the Father of Lies to make two claims that lie entirely within the inner world she has created in her mind. When these two monstrous lies are taken from her playground and set out in the bright light of God's sunshine the extent of her twaddle becomes readily evident. Language is not Lori's long suit, strong suit, or any other suit! First she picks on Hebrew that she refers to as 'Semantically' obviously meaning 'Semitically' not knowing that neither term describes the language of the ancient Israelites nor modern Jews. Although the language used in that part of the temple representation Mrs MacGregor describes might or might not be Hebrew, if it is Hebrew then it cannot be interpreted in either classical or modern Hebrew to say anything about Lucifer, the Devil, Satan, demons, evil, or any kind of principle of evil, personal or impersonal. What it can be interpreted as in both Classical and Modern Hebrew is 'Wonderful God.' How can MacGregor get it so wrong unless she is consciously and deliberately misleading her fawning followers. Then she goes for Chinese and lays another false trail down which he gullible follow her emptying their pockets into her own purse as they do so. She can certainly suck in the gullible! Twaddle-Talker are specialists in fooling the easily fooled. I asked a teacher that taught English as a Second Language at a Chinese University in Boutou about MacGregor's second claim. She was as dismissive of her grasp of the Chinese Language as Hebrew scholars are of her grasp of Hebrew. Thus does Lori MacGregor stand unmasked as one that bears false witness. Her grasp of the correct teachings and beliefs of Mormonism are of the same order as her linguistic abilities. The Canadian Government forced MacGregor's Companmy to close down under its Laws against Religious Hatred, having determined that MacGrgor's Company fostered, taught, published, and profited from bare-faced religious bigotry and open hatred.
