"We wrestle not against flesh and blood," wrote Paul in Ephesians 6:2, "but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
This exposes the paradox of those that style themselves as Christian fundamentalists but ignore and defy the injunction of Jesus Christ to love their neighbours as they love themselves. Those that are such rage at those that dare to not believe as they believe.
For Fundamentalists there is no love, no pity, no mercy in their ceaseless war against other faiths and what they decide are false teachings, because they cannot recognise their intemperate onslaughts as demon-inspired hatred for those against whom they rage and wage war. Sadly, they suffer from the intractable delusion that they are fightin agains Satan himself.
The deluded Fundamentalist is blind to the commandment of Jesus to love their neighbours, even those of another faith, and this is their Fundamental flaw from which they leave themselves no avenue of escape except to repent of their wickedness and then wholeheartedly embrace the teachings of Jesus. Failure to do this dooms them to remain in their delusional state and ignore Jesus Christ until it is too late for them to turn aside from their vengeful quest and accept Jesus' invitation to follow Him.
